Zadar is a city in the heart of the eastern coast of the Adriatic sea. The old city core is situated on a small Peninsula cca. 1 km x 400 m. The population is close to 80 000 inhabitants and still rising. Even though it’s a fifth city in the country, we can’t say that Zadar is a huge town. It’s a dream come true for those who are planning to start a family, for now.

There are at least 3 characteristics that will most definitely attract everyone to visit the old core with Zadar City Tour. If you don’t join Zadar walking tour in order to hear more about Roman architecture then you will surely join it because of the Venetian walls and bastions.
Surprisingly, a lot of people thinks that the main attraction lies in the view from the famous Riva (Promenade), called after a Croatian king Peter Krešimir the IVth.

Forum surrounded by roman architecture built at that time and later. Take a moment and glance at the Church and convent of St.Mary where the benedictine nuns kept for centuries Zadar’s most precious relics.

KALERAGA, KALELARGA
The most famous street of Zadar, Kalelarga, won’t leave you indifferent or wondering why Tomislav Ivčić, one of the most famous Croatian singers born and raised in Zadar, sung about this particular street in his song ‘Kalelarga’.
